I have been working at DISH full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

DISH can in fact be a demeaning place to work. The company has high expectations, and does require accountability. However, if this appeals to you, the sky is the limit. For those willing to only put in the minimum

Cons

DISH moves fast and could improve communications. More time off would also be appreciated.

Advice to Management

Continue to listen to employees. We are moving the right direction, but still have a ways to go. Improve time off.

I have been working at DISH full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Punishes employees for equipment problems and false advertising. Company is unappreciated of tenured staff and enjoys terminating them.

    Cons

Retaliation, sexist management, favoritism in career advancement, bullying, disorganization, expensive benefits, poor work life balance, high turnaround, dishonesty.

    Advice to Management

Company can save money by eliminating managers and keeping supervisors. Managers are always playing games on their cell phone and they joke around how they cannot help customers or staff because they don’t know anything so they just refuse to help anyone. They should not send people home to dye their hair if they don't like the color and ban piercings because it is a very common dress and the customers cannot see you.

    Pros

For the most part, the people are good. They're just trying to do their job.

    Cons

Dish is a very difficult and challenging place to work. Everything you have heard about it is true.

    Advice to Management

The problems start at the very top level of management. Until this changes the problems will continue.
