I have been working at DNN

    Pros

There's a Keurig machine. The longer you work at DNN the more desensitized you are to the horrible culture. You'll start thinking that micro-management, catty CEOs and inexperienced sales leadership is a norm for a tech company.

    Cons

The biggest con would be the company's lack of self awareness. Dnn will continue to lose from competitors, lose good employees, and be stagnant in growth because the executives and management refuse to accept there's a problem. There's no strategy within the company. I saw them let go of a whole sales team (account management), then immediately realize that was a mistake. So they moved engineers into the open account...

    Advice to Management

Become self aware of the culture at DNN. Instead of posting fake 5 star reviews, why don't you strategize on how to actually fix the culture so your current employees are happy? Freeze hiring until you figure things out. How ethical is it to recruit someone knowing how bad things are going?

I worked at DNN full-time for more than a year

    Pros

-CEO is a great person to learn sales from -Chill environment -Very excellent product with a huge following in the Microsoft world -Senior leadership is very nice, they have no attitudes against employees -Excellent comp plan, you can make a lot of money working here (on a new business team of 5-7 people, at least 2-3 are making over $200k annually --- but you have to be patient and work hard the first 8 months)...

    Cons

-.NET is not being used as much as it was during the heyday of Microsoft, but nonetheless is still extremely popular (helps you as a salesperson!) -location isn't great, but isn't bad either (depends where you live) -Perks are not great, but the money you can potentially make should allay this

    Advice to Management

Rebuild the commercial product in PHP and Scala, you will destroy Wordpress :-)
