I have been working at DNV GL full-time

Pros

Lots of opportunity for travel and interaction with many different countries. A vibrant and diverse work community and a good sense of working for the greater good. Technical training opportunities are everywhere.

Cons

A large company, sometimes it can be difficult to find out who you need to talk to to get what you need. The new employee initiation could be a little more in depth, many things you do not learn until months later on the job that would have been helpful to know from the start.

Advice to Management

The company is well managed.

I worked at DNV GL full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Schedule 9/80 program. Location close to residence.

    Cons

Extremely political, high favoritism, do not treat everyone the same. Very unprofessional management who is friends with the lower level employees, but if they don't like you better watch out because they will take you down!
