Negative Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I have been working at DST Systems full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Decent benefits and work/life balance.

Cons

DST is looking for ways to save money, which includes laying off or firing more people. More emphasis is placed on getting the job done vs getting it done the right way, so people that get things done the wrong way are rewarded the same as people who get things done the right way.

Advice to Management

Pay attention to how things are getting done and reward workers that do things the right way.

    Pros

    Easy to get promoted
    Benefits are good
Compensation is good once you are in management

    Cons

    Very political
Senior management will throw you under the bus
HR is brutal to work with if have issues
Company is slowly dying to to omnibus conversions by broker dealers since they get paid per account by their clients

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the political favors and stop hiring your relatives in senior positions. Find some other line of business for the company because it is going to die a slow death due to omni conversions of broker dealer accounts.
