I worked at DaVita full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

General freedom of what hours you work.
"OK" benefits

Cons

Management not accountable for themselves.
Management has complete lack of integrity.
Does not uphold the core values that they spew on others.
Overloads workers with insane amounts of work, then throws you out of the company if you can't handle it, which many can't.
Pay is horrible for amount of hours and work they expect you to do.

Advice to Management

None, because they wouldn't listen anyway. Everything is your fault not managements.

I have been working at DaVita full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Lots of benefits, includeing school reimbursment, PTO, Medical and Dental.

    Cons

No advancment for people without degrees, no matter how many years experience. Only 2% annual raises (if any). Quick to lecture when goals not met, but slow to praise when things are going well. No show of appreciation.

    Advice to Management

Don't streatch employees so thin. Give better oppurtunites for people without degrees to advance. AA's, FA's, Social Workers, and Dititians should be assigned for each clinic. Ratio for clinic floor should be 3 to 1, so that you always have extra for emergencies.

I have been working at DaVita full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

chance to get to know patients/family's over a period of time

    Cons

far too many junior and senior managers who distract from patient care with conference calls that lack connection to the day to day operations of the dialysis center. we don't need micromanagement on how to care for patients, we need actual time to do the work.
Make a name for yourself within the organization without wasting my time.

    Advice to Management

live up to your motto "no brag, just fact"
or is it all brag, no fact?
