I worked at Daimler Trucks North America as an intern (Less than a year)

Pros

Headquarters are right in Portland, one of the biggest cities in Oregon.
Daimler is one of the biggest truck manufacturing companies out there.

Cons

Internship was very loosely organized.

Advice to Management

It would be cool to give the interns some more guidance and some more fulfilling tasks.

I have been working at Daimler Trucks North America full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Lots of low-performers around you make you look good. Multiple promotions can come fast within 12 months if you are student interns working up through the ranks of pre-management positions. To move up beyond this point, you can still move up fast if you know someone or if no one wants the position - which is often the case.

    Cons

Lots of low-performers around you make you work harder.

    Advice to Management

    Reward high-performers.
