I worked at Danaher full-time

Pros

Competitive salary, and decent 401k match and profit contribution after 1 year.

Cons

As other reviews have pointed out, Danaher is interested only in the bottom-line. Work/life balance is not a concern for them. No sick days, so have to use vacation, and it takes a very long time to get additional vacation days.

Advice to Management

Don't discuss incentive comp plan bonuses around non-management employees that are not eligible.

    Pros

    Salary: That is how they get you. Remember that the grass is NOT always greener!
    DBS: Danaher Business System. (Toyota Business System)
    Employees that were working at the Danaher Business Unit prior to be acquired by Danaher.

    Cons

    Engineering's time was spent on fixing the existing products. No R&D. No Marketing. No dedicated outside sales force. Manufacturing runs the show. Cut costs, cut costs, cut costs. The customer does not come first. Employees are assets to be used accordingly.

    Advice to Management

    Any advice in contrast to Manufacturing or Accounting's ideals will be disregarded or considered to be provided by someone who's opinion is useless.
