    Pros

Laid back, friendly, and casual work environment. For the most part it is a very fair and pressure free place to work.

    Cons

Management has problems turning a laid back and casual work environment into dollars. As a result, we usually end up rushing products out the door unfinished for the sole purpose of hitting some manager's project quota. Additionally, due to the financial situation of the company, many of the perks you would find at other companies are missing. For example: bonuses, company parties/outings, encentive programs, team building experiences are all virtually non-existant (unless it comes out of the managers pocket).

    Advice to Management

Get in touch with your employees. Not the people directly below you but rather the people at the ground floor. They are the ones who actually know what your customers want. Not your paper pushers that produce nothing but reports based on data collected and then passed through 3 layers of refinement so that it "looks good".
