Pros

Apollo College was recently bought by Devry and offers bonuses, great compensation and really good benefit packages to full time or part time employees.

Cons

The only con when I was working there was that there were alot of people temporarily in management positions that were not qualified or competent to perform their job correctly.

Advice to Management

While I worked at Apollo it was a great place to work, alot of friendly faculty and staff and students.

    Pros

Benefits are great--every cafeteria plan known to man and very customizable. Expensive, but tons of available options. Free tuition at DeVry/Keller included

    Cons

This was really not the role for me. Through the interview process, they tell you you're an advisor, but in all actuality, you're a dialing automaton. The leads you're given are few, far-between, and often not warm (the "potential students" didn't actually want information on your school). If you want to make 100+ calls a day, get hung up on a lot, and annoy people, this is the job for you.

    Advice to Management

Bill this job the way it actually is to prospective employees: this is a telemarketing position, plain and simple. If you don't like making lots of phone calls and calling someone who may or may not have requested information on your school 3x a day and stalking mainly loser students for deposits, then this isn't the job for you.
