Pros

Extensive "training program" that promises 80k - 100k within 12 months. Friendly staff. Nice building.

Cons

It's direct sales. You work six days a week for about $300 plus what they don't like to call commission, but it's pretty much commission. For those of you who can't do math well, that's a good bit less than California minimum wage. Supposedly this training program promises that you'll be making more within a few weeks/months, but the attrition rate is so high that you probably won't make it to the higher earning spots. You will interview at the same time as several other fresh new grads and they will interview dozens of people because the attrition is so high. If you can get through it, it may be nice, but don't waste your time.

Advice to Management

Be more transparent in your job listings. I just saw another listing that sounds great on paper but doesn't begin to describe the duties.

    Pros

You gain A LOT of hands on experience that will most definitely Shape you up. Job is for people with Thick skin, and discipline will be tested. The environment for Atmo was undeniably the best part of the job experience. They certainly know how to motivate employees and is definitely a nurturing environment for folks entering the business of marketing. Overall a good company to get work experience and show where you are at and what you are made of.

    Cons

Work life balance is a BIG issue. Long days sometimes more than 8 hours to achieve numbers.

    Advice to Management

Hire enough staff to allow 4-5day work weeks in order to accommodate Part-Time workers. 6 days a weeks is too demanding if you are still going to school or have children or have other time obligations.

    Pros

They really believe in the Sales Concept even though its called Marketing in this company. They seem to want you to succeed

    Cons

Expect to work long hours at low to no pay for awhile. They say there is a salary but they stop it in three days and move everyone to commision only.

    Advice to Management

There should be more in-depth training with new hires. Also, there was no notice that you would have to work 6 days a week.
