Pros

Solid team of people who care.

Cons

Layoffs every two years that make no sense from a business perspective.

Advice to Management

Empower your middle managers. They are having to hand down decisions that they can't even begin to explain the logic of. Which leaves the sales teams shaking their heads in wonder.

    Pros

Dell people are some of the best in the world at what they do. It's just that people don't want what Dell traditionally sells anymore. Some company's can re invent them selves maybe Dell is one of those companies. Maybe not.

    Cons

Dell's poor financial performance meant comparativly poor pay and conditions. In addition Dell is a US company with a "provincial" and largely US centric outlook.
