    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Dell as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

    - There are great managers that will do their work very well
     - Managers empower, and motivate you
     - Probably the best people from the IT market are there
     - Has a great team work culture
     - You may interact with anyone from any team for career advice and to build network
     - Awesome servant leadership from the managers
     - Possibility to be mentored by senior employees

    Cons

    - Very poor HR.
     - You can only get a promotion after 2 years in a great form
     - You are compared to all of the other employees on the same cost center as you. Which should be around 400 people. You may be compared to someone in a high visibility project, which makes it impossible to get a decent review.
     - Can't apply the best practices, they hire the best people and drop them in the middle of common developers
     - It's hard for the best people to influence the weaker ones if they are at Dell for longer than you are
    - Very, very process oriented. In a braindead way
     - HR makes silly mistakes such as hiring an ITIL process analyst to a project manager position. And no ones sees an issue on this.

    Advice to Management

    - Keep empowering ur direct reports
     - You will lose your best talents if HR keeps creating silly rules
