I have been working at Dell full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good health benefits and 401k plan. They give you the ability to move up in the company. Good training program.

    Cons

No direction on what the companies goals are. Value dollars over employees.

    Advice to Management

Compensate your employees better, offer better incentives and give employees better recognition for their hard work.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Dell full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good pay and benefits, generally flexible work schedules, mostly skilled and sharp employees

    Cons

Extremely poor executive strategy making and execution in the PC business unit - wont commit to a plan and see it through, allowing themselves to be overly influenced by Microsoft and ODM partners in Asia. Degree of influence and negotiating strength with ODMs is weak given Dell's ranking in worldwide PC sales. Generally ineffective management at all levels.
