    Pros

    Excellent work/life balance.
    Great benefits
Up to date with some software releases
    Nice perks

    Cons

You won't move up in the company unless you brown nose, or you've been there since the 90s.
All they know how to do is hire and fire. There is a constant revolving door of employees.
Some managers don't like the fact you are smarter than them. If you give your manager a constructive performance review that they feel is threatening, you're first on the layoff list. Managers need to score within a specific range for advancement. A poor review is hurting these chances for them. So, you'll most likely be laid off.
Dell hires anybody. You may have a degree and the experience, but you're co-worker that makes the same as you has never attended college and doesn't even know excel. Dell calls this diversity. I call it a joke. I worked with someone that didn't know how to turn on a laptop or how to plug in a mouse.

    Advice to Management

Hire smart people for the job. I'm all for giving others a chance, but training my co-worker on simple MS Word features just tells me they can't do their job. Yet, because their "buddy" is in management, they will most likely get promoted over me. Maybe this is why I own a MAC.
