    I have been working at Deloitte full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Salaries are good, benefits are good, pension is ok (better if you started in '97 or earlier).

    Cons

    Your ultimate future is determined by a Byzantine Magic 8 Ball-like process, where performance management is an extremely subjective measurement depicted as an objective numerical rating system, with forced rankings and twice-yearly "headcount reductions."

    Advice to Management

    Stop behaving like it is still 2009, be the beneficient employer that existed before the Bearing Point acquisition when Consulting took over firm management and it became a numbers game based solely on performance-to-plan and unit value. Treat people like people, not like cattle.
