I worked at Delta Air Lines full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Great place to work, good management, great open culture among leaders. Cannot complain about the flight benefits. I learned a lot about leadership, the challenges of working for an airline and how important teamwork is.

Cons

Annual pressure to keep costs down can imply layoffs, voluntary actions, furloughs, and the like.

Advice to Management

Keep up the great work in cultivating open dialogue across all levels of the organization. Remember how important the front line employees are to Delta's success in a very competitive environment.

I worked at Delta Air Lines part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Ok pay, great coworkers, flight benefits, etc. I was able to work from home which was definitely a plus at the time. Rewarded for good work and customer compliments.

    Cons

No health insurance for work at home at that time. One day supervisors want you to focus on customers, the next day, they want you to just get the job done without personal customer service.

    Advice to Management

Stop focusing on quotas and focus on customers.

I worked at Delta Air Lines full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The pay is ok but you receive a lot of random bonuses. You and your family (husband, parents and kids under 21) travel for free! Health insurance is ok.

    Cons

You never really get to enjoy your flight benefits. You work all holidays unless it's your RDO or you have super senority. If you work outside (ramp, DCI or Baggage) take your vitamins because you will get sick.

    Advice to Management

Stop showing favoritism! If someone is sick let them stay home (what good are they anyway) and keep giving those random bonuses.
