I worked at Delta Air Lines as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you wanna be busy with plenty if work and try to get a good workout this may fit you. It reminds me of Ups and Fedex in the Cargo department. The company rewards and perks website for employees is nice and you get a pretty flexible schedule. Reserves can ask for days off anytime ahead of time throughout the year.

    Cons

Only 1600 hours a year for new workers and your neither full time or part time you are a ready reserve fighting for a permanent spot biding on openings in the future. The cargo side is usually understaffed when it counts the most.

    Advice to Management

Hire more people for the amount of work that is being increased.

I worked at Delta Air Lines full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good crew training atmosphere. Nice training facility with good instructors. Benefits were okay. Co-workers were friendly. Crew hotels were clean and nice.

    Cons

Not much room for advancement. Schedulers were sometimes rude and unhelpful. Once out of training you're very much on your own.

    Advice to Management

Help new crew members adjust to the new lifestyle with more support.
