Great company, with some things here and there.

    Pros

Flight benefits are amazing, can fly not only Delta but also other airlines for low fees (still standby but worth it). Work can be stressful or difficult at times, but is generally good and not too hard. Never stressed to think about work before I go in. Pay gets better long term (somewhat of a con for the short term but if you’re in for the long game it’s decent news). Opportunity to grow within the company is real here. They want to help you succeed. Other benefits are great. Love working with and around aircraft.

    Cons

Starting/short term pay is weak for how consistent the work needs to be, how dangerous it can be if you don’t do things right, and with what’s at stake if something happens to the plane/people. This is a hit or miss, but seniority. Usually okay but it can really suck in some instances like bidding for shifts, flying, vacation approvals, etc. Shift bidding every once in a while. A pro if you have seniority to keep your preferred schedule, and a con if you’re new because you are left with the scraps.

Great work environment, good pay, stable company, excellent benefits

    Pros

Flight benefits are the standout benefit for sure. Aside from that, the work in the IT department is project based, so very team oriented with steady, predictable work patterns. Positive environment with good management.

    Cons

Very hard to stand out in such a large company. Promotions are few and very far between. Commute to the main office can be rough being located on the south side next to the airport
