Pros

Typical gig work. You work with children with special needs as an almost assistant teacher. A lot depends on the school you are placed at. There’s always work available.

Cons

They pay you for a six hour day. No real full-time available.

Pros

One of the main positives is the support system. I appreciate that I can easily reach out to my representative when issues come up, which makes me feel supported and not completely on my own. Communication is generally accessible, and there is a sense that someone is there to help navigate challenges. Everything vary by school district.

Cons

here are concerns around pay transparency, as it is not always clear how compensation is determined. Additionally, the company is heavily influenced by schools and districts, which can sometimes lead to unrealistic expectations. There is often pressure to overwork under the idea of doing it “for the kids,” which can make it difficult to maintain boundaries and feel fairly valued for the work being done.
