I have been working at Deltic Timber full-time

    Pros

As a forester, you'll get to see the entire range of forestry activities. Harvesting, planting, road construction, cruising, GIS work, contract management, chemical application, and site prep burns.

    Cons

Most districts are understaffed, presumably because of the noncompetitive salaries.

    Advice to Management

Become more open to your employees and provide more incentive.
