    Pros

The students and parents are warm and supportive. It is very rewarding to watch students learn and grow.

    Cons

There is not much support from immediate supervisors. They would rather search for the perfect "fit", than give constructive feedback and training.

    Advice to Management

Discourage the idea of the perfect "fit" and encourage supervisors to find their employees' strenghts

I worked at Denver Public Schools full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good pay, summers off, lots of schools to choose from, and if you are lucky and get into one of the good schools, you get support from your administrators.

    Cons

Crazy unrealistic expectations, most school are full of people trying to get into better school districts, and stress stress stress. With all of the requirements there is little likelihood you will work less than 60 hours a week.

    Advice to Management

Figure out how to lessen the workload of teachers.
