Pros

93% of the people are great. Goals are aggressive. Benefits are strong and pay is very competitive and fair I&D Initiatives, inclusive Culture.... Sustainability ideals Multitude of career opportunities - including what Diageo calls "Secondments" where you step out of role to get experience elsewhere (typically 6 ish months). Creates a bit of a cluster for Recruiting and for the business, but allows employees to broaden skills.

Cons

The 7% that are bad, are really bad... Especially if it's an exec, though there are really only a couple execs....vast majority of the are quite great. Leadership has a tendency to bend to immature employee groups. Some functional Leaders need to be better about balanced accountability vs taking the path of least resistance. Weak HR, particularly a couple of the exec. Work life balance is almost solely based on your boss (es). It's typically those dotted lines that create the unbalance. Especially if you're someone who is in a global function supporting Regionally.

Pros

Pay & Benefits are wonderful

Cons

Unrealistic expectations towards employees Insurance benefits *Managers* are composed of front-line production leads and those who may oversee or supervise.* The work-life balance is severely lacking, and there are biased managers who add negative connotations to peers' actions without any solid evidence or knowledge. Furthermore, these managers often lack technical expertise regarding machinery and engage in excessive micromanagement of employees. The workplace lacks diversity as defined, and the hiring representatives are typically the same floor leads that micromanage peers creating unfair hiring process at Diageo. Many individuals who have encountered the corrupt practices lead reps in previous jobs are frequently denied opportunities.
