I worked at DialAmerica part-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

If you can read and speak, you're hired! Steady paycheck. Make some friends.

Cons

Micro-management is terrible! Always freezing. Not rewarding. BORING.

Advice to Management

Every manager needs to be on the same page. This wouldn't be such a problem if there weren't so many managers on different levels to report to. It's exhausting trying to keep up with what's what when everyone else is told something different.

    Pros

    The work is not that difficult & the entry-level pay isn't bad.

    Cons

    It's telemarketing, so you receive a lot of negative feedback from the people you call and the turn-over rate for the company is very high. Require a lot of advice notice to get a day off, at least 2 weeks, or you're written up.

    Advice to Management

    Reconsider some of the things that count against service rep's sales %. Some things are outside the employee's control, but still count against him/her.

    I have been working at DialAmerica part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    The DialAmerica environment is very family oriented. The staff maintains a very positive environment and often encourages the agents to be successful.

    Cons

    The comission structure is not as good as I would hope for and although there is room to grow, at this time there are no fulltime positions available.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work with reward and recognition.
