Pros

Diamond Resorts International® continues to be ahead of the curve as a leader in the hospitality and vacation ownership industry, and continue to impress our customers and competitors alike.. I'm impressed with our company's culture of The Meaning of Yes®.

Cons

People still have a negative stereotype of the timeshare business.

    Pros

    The compensation plan is awesome, if you can sell timeshare.

    Cons

    I did not get the coaching and training that I would have liked.

    Advice to Management

    Have new people shadow top producers, not sales people who are unable to close.

    Pros

    Very reasonable work schedule; the company is always concerned with overtime, letting you enjoy an actual 40 hour work week. The majority of the employees on the lower levels are nice people - there is a sense of fatalism in that nothing positive gets done and no one can get ahead. People joke on a daily basis about needing to find a new job to get a promotion.

    Cons

    Senior management is totally disconnected from employees. There are mass exodus resignations and it still doesn't get noticed by senior level executives. People who stay are happy with the status quo, people who leave are the ones who tried to do good/implement change.

    Advice to Management

    Keep good employees and stop promoting your friends.
