I quit before having another job lined up, That's how bad it is. - IT Field Technician Digital One Technology Employee Review

Pros

None, Not even "it gives you experience". You can get higher quality experience with better managers for better pay very easily.

Cons

You will be micromanaged yet everything wrong will be your fault. If you are given so much to do that you can't get it done in 40 hours and you don't get it done then you will be threatened with firing. If you are given so much to do that you can't get it done in 40 hours and you go into overtime then you will be threatened with firing. No work/life balance. Rude and nepotistic management.

Pros

As a non-religious person in a religious city, they are very helpful to the christrian community, specifically, the low income to provide internet via sat-radio.

Cons

Theres a lot wrong, I spent 3 years there and gave up a bunch of nights and time with my family to do after-hour tickets and travel all over the state because they wouldn't pay for lodging. They reimburse on gas rather than providing gas cards. The hours expected to work during my time was basically 24/7 unless you requested time off. The CEO is a good guy, truly a good guy but his views and his order of operation and what are primary tasks for aiding or supporting his technicians. The office staff constantly got upgrades but for the techs, we where left with testing sets that cost the company 3 cents to the dollar for cheap tools that proved to be consistently unreliable. Training is the saddest thing for this industry. My pros ended up getting shut down cause the cost of labor and first install was too high, with too much of a demand from office on collecting.
