    Pros

Flexibility in work schedule, good benefits, free healthcare available.

    Cons

If you work in IT, be prepared to be on-call 2-3 times in a week, and available at all hours of the night; salary freezes.

    Advice to Management

Create more advancement opportunities, and loosen up on salary freezes

I have been working at Dignity Health full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Fair salary for rural community. Fellow co workers typically good minus the managers pets. Union employees seem to fare better. Good health benefits but that is changing.

    Cons

Taking jobs from American citizens and giving jobs to foreign workers in other countries that will work for less. Poor collaboration with area physician offices. Poor staffing in some areas while good workers get dumped on and patients pay the price. Lots of talk about excellent customer service but it is severely lacking due to poor staffing and poor communication from management. Directors and CEOs over paid. You have to be a member of the "good ol boys" club to get any recognition or the time of day. Lack of authenticity and transparency between management and employees. Gone down hill since becoming Dignity Health. Union members have better chance for growth than non union.

    Advice to Management

Cut salaries of directors and executives. Watch your own commercials and try some dignity and respect to your employees who show up everyday and do care about the care of the sick and elderly and do have good work ethic and loyalty instead of yesterdays trash. Take some lessons from the CEO of Starbucks.
