No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Dillard's full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Higher starting pay for retail companies, flexible schedule, good co-workers depending on location

Cons

Management more concerned with sales than individual progress. Management plays favorites to higher sellers.

Advice to Management

Focus on individual progress of employees, I think more one on one meetings with employees would be beneficial

    I worked at Dillard's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    good pay for retail.okay discounts

    Cons

constantly being told to sell! sell!sell! and also pushing to offer dillards credit cards. you have quotas to meet but its difficult when your doing more cleaning then selling, some managers are annoying, they are not there when you need them.

I have been working at Dillard's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

slight upward mobility, some creative freedom, good location

    Cons

not enough benefits, poor insurance, poor management skills, your opinion means very little

    Advice to Management

Instead of constantly hiring new people to replace old ones, try to make Dillard's a place where people want to stay.
