I worked at Discovery Communications as an intern

    Pros

A great atmosphere of people to work with, a lot of fun events where they invite the whole company to partake (free and really good food and activities, exciting adventures everyday with different people to talk to.

    Cons

A lot of desk work and long hours. Sometimes I had nothing to do at all a literally had to watch whole seasons of their television shows (but they said it familiarized myself with the brand), no job offer after and my manager didn't really help me. I asked to connect with her on LinkedIn and she did not want to.

    Advice to Management

    Genuinely try to help
