I worked at Disney Parks & Resorts as a contractor (Less than a year)

Pros

In the presence of many great minds. Pay is great. Opportunity to see how a giant business operates.

Cons

Tasks that take a day at a smaller company may take 2 months at Disney.

Advice to Management

Find ways to show that you appreciate those who work on your teams.

I have been working at Disney Parks & Resorts full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good for a stable career for people with families, a lot of training and knowledge from intelligent people who have been with the company for many years, great brand recognition, good benefits -- especially if you like Disney and their Parks

    Cons

Underpaid, at times overworked. Not a great place for young, normal people to work unless you're Disney obsessed. Culture is very hierarchical/tradtionall, too many old people in positions of power who need to retire. Horrible HR policies including the "Disney Look" that are inconsistent with the rest of the Disney segments. Not enough working from home allowed.

    Advice to Management

Don't resist change. Give your employees more appreciation - the coffee tastes like burnt bat droppings and there are never any events except in-park opportunities which many don't care about. Oh, and provide more oppiortunites for Salary growth other than switching positions every 4 years.
