I worked at Disney Parks & Resorts as a contractor (More than a year)

Pros

I worked at the Japanese pavilion. I was working as a participant but still I was able to take part in disney benefits. I love their philosophy.

Cons

Very low wage to start from when working on stage.

As any hospitality business, the hours and days of work are crazy

I worked at Disney Parks & Resorts as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Awesome benefits if you are a Disney Parks fan. Access to the utilidors, backstage tours, special events, all kinds of stuff. The pay is middle of the road, and you are surrounded by 60,000 other employees.

    Cons

The culture is awful and directly out of office space. There are so many forms that have to be filled out to do anything, and you don't actually work for your manager at all. They have very little say in your future beyond your exact current department.

    Advice to Management

Get the employees excited about the product. If someone is interested and knowledgable on a specific market segment, keep them on that segment.
