I have been working at Disney Parks & Resorts full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Disney provides the best benefits that include admission into their theme park resorts. Also, the continuing education is constantly being enforced.

Cons

I think their are no cons with the exception that certain leaders have no understanding of day to day operations. This of course is my opinion

Advice to Management

Work with staff more instead of focusing on your leaders

I worked at Disney Parks & Resorts as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Disney looks after its employees. The benefits are great and the atmosphere is one of friendship and commentary.

    Cons

The hours are often irregular. Very often as an intern the hours vary greatly from week to week so if you are looking for a consistent schedule, you will be unhappy.

  2. "Disney is generally a good company to work for, but not to stay in."

    -A professional management team
    -Positive reinforcement for good work
    -Positive working environment onstage

    Cons

-Managers often not very accessible in the workplace
-Crazy hours especially during peak season
-Often a negative working environment backstage among coworkers
    -Extremely strict attendance policy
-Not very much ability to move up, only over (i.e.transfer to another department)

Create more opportunities for upward movement within the company. Providing positive incentives for good work will make people work less lazily.
