Pros
Exercise, meet people, get to use organizational skills, work with money
Cons
You never have enough help. DG will never allow enough people to be staffed per shift, so you can get the required work completed. You are always getting pulled away from unpacking shipment to help the other employee at the register, or to help customers, or to clean up messes. 2 people (if your lucky) per shift isn't enough. We cannot get the shipment put away in a timely manner without more people working there to help with other tasks. Yet were constantly getting chastised by bosses that it's taking to long to complete our duties. And people wonder why DG stores always look like a disaster zone.
