Pros

They do promote a good balance between personal and work life. They are good about permitting time off when needed. There are a lot of great people in the field that work really hard and want the best for the clients.

Cons

The management style is very condescending. They don't have any respect for your overall knowledge and any new ideas are highly discouraged. There is a "we have never done it that way mentality". They do not empower their people to make any of their own decisions and micromanage the entire process. Any new ideas or best practices are dismissed immediately and after you are there for a couple months you get to the point that you don't even try anymore because of the negative response bringing any ideas to the table gets you.

Advice to Management

You have a lot of very talented people working for you. Ask them what their challenges are in a way that allows them to be honest and listen to them. Moral is very low on the sales team and the overall feeling is that no one cares.

    Pros

Most employees of the company are great to work with for the most part.
Changes in upper management a few years ago seem to be for the better, and the company has clearer direction, and there seems to be more business saavy people in charge now.

    Cons

Uncertainty with buyout offers from competitors
No room for growth in certain locations
Bennefits were cut several years ago to help save the company, and now when profitable again bennefits weren't restored.
Some people in corporate that have worked for the company for many years are resistant to change, and are difficult to work with. (Many who are in key positions)
Continued increase in outsourcing of contact center volume.

    Advice to Management

Reward your employees for sticking with the company through times of adversity. Restore what you took away, now that you are bragging in the news how great you are doing. Get rid of some of the dead weight in middle management. Discontinue the push to oustsource customer contact functions. Review some of the field policy disclosure practices.
