Former Employee - Store Manager in Pittsfield, MA
Former Employee - Store Manager in Pittsfield, MA
    Approves of CEO

    Pros

Strong company communication on placement of merchandise ,ad sets. Lower management advancement. Great Benefits, Lot of opportunity for Store Manager to use their knowledge to increase sales, profit and Loss control.Allowing an opportunity to make a impact on the bottom line.

    Cons

District Managers should be over seen more, Mentoring needed, Allowing District Managers to overextend themselves causing them to become frustrated easily. Human Resources needs to be more proactive in following up on issues with District Managers and support the Store Management Team . Regional Director should follow up and ensure all issues are resolved from the bottom of the team and up.

    Advice to Management

Listen to all, starting with the customer to sales associate to cashier to lower management team to middle management and so on. I would hope that all associates are held valuable and treated with respect. As a company grows it is easy to forget the "easily replaced" associate. Value them, Listen to them for they are the face of the company. When issues arise with Management teams Look into the whole picture. Sales, Moral ,Customer relations and opinions within the team. The truth is always there if you want it. Following up and Listening to only one opinions can cause the company a great loss from moral to monetary gains.
