    I worked at Drake Beam Morin as a contractor (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Very satisfying work, great colleagues.

    Cons

    Around 2003 DBM began going downhill, they used to hire amazing consultants (experienced) who became close friends and colleagues, but then they began focusing on cost control and hire very unethical and inexperienced people, including those who had been laid off, without any experience in coaching, training, or outplacement. Management expected employees to work without pay with unreasonable workload. This review refers to the physical offices (not virtual team, which was the opposite)

    - Decisions made quickly.
    - Strong global presence.

    - Not strong morale.
    - Not a lot of career growth.
    - Bonus plans not strong unless in sales.
    - Not enough administrative support.

    Advice to Management

    Recognize people who go the extra mile on a consistent basis and invest in small events in the offices where people can socialize and celebrate successes outside of the office. These simple and inexpensive steps go a long way toward increasing morale.
