I have been working at Dropbox as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Dropbox is in the unique position of having many users with lots of data, but still being young enough to have interesting problems left to solve. I've learned much more from this job than most jobs I've had.

There is very little beaurocracy, and very little time is wasted in meetings.

People devote lots of time to mentoring interns and helping new hires. This helped me to grow quickly soon after I started.

Most people I've dealt with have very clearly communicated their expectations.

    Cons

I don't feel like I fit in the culture very well. Some employees at Dropbox are quite "fratty". I enjoy being around the other engineers in this company, but I really dislike being around some of the sales and customer support people. I'm hoping that this changes as the company grows. Dropbox seems to be less centered around engineering than other tech companies I've worked at.

    Advice to Management

I'd prefer if the management took a more active role in promoting the kind of culture that will be beneficial for Dropbox in the long term.
