I worked at DuPage Medical Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Clinic offices are often over -booked creating patient face time pressure for physicians and other providers. This creates a stressful, at times frenzied environment. Staff are literally running from room to room and patient to patient. The pace is not sustainable. You need to schedule personal bathroom breaks, and forget about taking a lunch break. The staff genuinely do the best they can under the circumstances and...

    Cons

The primary goal and objective of this organization is to maximize dollars and profit. There is very little patient "care" reflected in their actual mission. Staff salaries are very low, about 20% below the industry standard. There is little weight given to professional experience or competence in calculating salaries or raises. DMG is a very unpleasant place to work.

    Advice to Management

I believe it is too late for DMG to change course. Upper management is "full steam ahead" with no intention of re-considering direction. They are clearly not seeking advice from anyone.

I worked at DuPage Medical Group for less than a year

    Pros

The company is focused on growth, expansion, and their core mission of putting patients first. The office itself is beautiful and my team members were supportive, kind, and focused on my growth as a person too.

    Cons

There seemed to be some bias and favoritism in other departments.

I have been working at DuPage Medical Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Building protocols per radiologist will have you ready to scan anywhere on earth. There is a lot to take in and review. Staff is great at the employee level and most people are very friendly. HR department is very kind and understanding willing to listen.

    Cons

Management is very disorganized. At best they're passable at worst negligent. The techs are not only tasked with scanning but working on something called a "protocol list" really the techs are just doing what a radiology scheduler should be doing it's a never ending task and varies by location. There is no uniform policies for scanning, each site has different magnets different protocols and different abilities.

    Advice to Management

GET ORGANIZED, LEARN TO COMMUNICATE, AND UNIFY PROCESSES. The inability to communicate here with management is ridiculous. I personally feel that each of them need to take classes from the HR staff as regards communication. Listen and implement employee suggestions, leads popping their heads in every 2 weeks doesn't give you the run of things or what a site struggles with so listen to your staff. Also the pay here is...
