Working for a large chemical company has its benefits - good investments into R&D, good equipment, fairly relaxed environment. DuPont has one of the best retirement match programs that a public company can offer, the overall benefits package is good.
Cons
Slow on moves in the business. Often times shifting direction and expecting employees to pick up the pace for management being behind on decision making. Overall, the salary is lower than what it seems competitors offer - having difficulty with retaining talent.
