The people at this place love what they do and care about their work.

There were people working there that did not care about their job. Any larger sized company has to deal with these types and Duke Photography does their best to keep the right personnel working there.

Pros

During my employment, the business operated its own printing lab with minimal outsourcing which was a worthwhile experience. The possibility of working in multiple facets of photo production was there.

Cons

The company unfortunately lost a significant amount of employees followed by a significant loss of clients. With each employee that left, the remaining employees were reconfigured to take over their task responsibilities with no additional pay -- or even a 'thank you.' Employees worked long hours, six to seven days a week, doubling or tripping their workloads. Over a short period of time, burnout and declining morale took over the atmosphere and as the workload exceeded the hands available to complete it, production suffered. The slowly decaying state of the business might have been salvaged with proper leadership. Unfortunately, such was absent here.
