    Pros

    I can take my children to work and have the holidays off with them! Schedules are very flexible. Work outdoors.

    The buses didn't have ac.

    An incentive for the employees to get and be healthy would benefit the company's morale and turnover.

    I have been working at Durham School Services part-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Flexible hours. Some kids are great. School staff seem supportive of Drivers. Good Maintenace program.

    Cons

    Shitty attitude, can't keep employees(high turnover), The company is more responsive to the school district than to their own employees, you get no backing from the district or the company with discipline problems. Company is slow to respond to calls for assistance. We always get told"Employ your student management techniques."

    Advice to Management

    You've almost burnt through your pool of employees. You can't keep importing drivers from other locations. Either back your employees or be prepared to drive the buses yourselves. When I take a sick day, I'm probably sick. Don't try to call me and guilt me into coming in the afternoon. Oh, AND TELL EMPLOYEES HOW TO GET PAID FOR SICK DAYS, YOU CHEAP PENNY PINCHING MORONS.
