I have been working at Dynamic Signal full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you are considering applying to a position at Dynamic Signal, do it! I've never worked in a more collaborative environment. The people who work here are extremely creative and scrappy, and truly GSD together. Additionally, you have a lot of autonomy over your work. If you have an idea that you think will improve the business, you can take ownership of it and drive that project forward. You are given a lot of space...

    Cons

    - Normal growing pains - Can take a while to get your expenses back

    Advice to Management

Invest in hiring resources and operational infrastructure. When a company is in hyper growth, processes and tech that worked for 50-100 people do not necessarily translate to 500-1,000+. It's easy to overlook these areas when a company is bootstrapped, but Dynamic Signal is not a startup anymore.

    Dynamic Signal Response

    November 12, 2018COO

As a leadership team, we’ve worked really hard to empower our employees and create a collaborative environment. We appreciate hearing that it’s working and love knowing that our people are being creative, taking risks, and GSD! We’re also very proud to report that we’ve taken ...

I have been working at Dynamic Signal full-time

    Pros

E-staff is humble enough to not think they have it all figured out yet, they strive to improve. Fast paced, silicon valley mature start up. Treat employees well & respectfully. Good growth path for all it seems.

    Cons

San Bruno is not the 'most happening' area in the bay, but convenient enough for most.

    Advice to Management

Continue to execute business plan without turning employees into pawns (which you are not). This business should be about the people, they will continue to make it great things happen by engaging and activating them.

I have been working at Dynamic Signal full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Fairly transparent CEO - Easy access to leadership There are some great managers in this organization, and I’m fortunate to have an awesome supervisor. There is also a pretty great talent pool; I’m impressed with many people’s backgrounds and I do like most of the people I work with here. I appreciate how easy it is to have conversations with people on all different teams.

    Cons

    - Few growth opportunities, particularly for CSMs and SDRs - Politics play an awfully big part in who gets promoted/recognized. This is not a meritocracy. - Internal communication, particularly between departments (the irony is that we’re supposed to be selling this) Customer Success is overworked (and underpaid). Account Executives (not all of them, but quite a few) are enabled to lie about what the product can do...

    Advice to Management

There seem to be a lot of recent five-star reviews that suspiciously use the same wording (and make we wonder if leadership is behind them). Why not spend some time trying to better the culture? Turnover is becoming a bigger problem; really listen to what employees are saying during exit interviews and work to fix that. Money is always a factor, but a culture of inclusivity and company that works as a meritocracy can...
