Pros

This is an inbound call center--not very glamorous work, but the company knows this is a realatively lousy job and doesn't try to sugar-coat it.

Cons

constant turn over between etrade, morgan stanley, wells, and fidelity. if you want a promotion, you have to walk across the street to another firm.

Advice to Management

Get a handle of the revolving door between Wells, ETrade, Morgan Stanley and Fidelity. Create a career path for advancement

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Opportunity to get Series 7, 63, and Series 24 licensing with company paid for training.

    Cons

Low Salary, Telephone call center environment very oppressive (if you go to the bathroom too much your manager will say something). Very rude and unknowledgable clients at the entry level.

    Advice to Management

Treat the people that are in the call center as important to the company because they are the first line of contact with your clients. Get rid of the Manila, Phillipines call center, just because it's cheaper does not mean it's better. By the time clients went through the ordeal of dealing with the Manila representatives they were so upset it was difficult to deal with them.

    Pros

Opportunity to become securities licensed. Learn a bit about the markets, it pays fairly well for a call center environment.

    Cons

You're in a call center environement. You're also dealing withe peoples money in a market sensitive environment. You need to have thick skina and an ability to work under pressure, fixing problems while someone is waiting right in your earset.

    Advice to Management

Call center environments are difficult places to provice advancement. It is a horizontal structure with a manager and his/her reps. Not a lot of room for moving up, though there are many opportunities to move sideways.
