Positive Outlook

I have been working at EF Education First full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Recognize people who work hard.
Not necessary to stay on one position for x number of years to get promotion, if you are really promising you will get promotions in consecutive years as well.
From technology perspective, we always work on latest ones, and are always open for new suggestions and working with new techniques.
Lots of opportunity to learn business.
Also with working hard we do lot of party as well.
International exposure, as you work with people from so many different nationality.

Cons

No clear growth plan for employees.
Appraisal cycle is not clearly laid out.
Sometimes deadlines are too tight, it throws away work life balance.

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at EF Education First full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The office is beautiful and being able to travel is very nice

    Cons

They set unattainable goals for a market which is already extremely saturated. I was given an impossible goal and I didn't make it. They didn't let me finish my probation period to be able to make it. In this industry, 2 months is not enough to make a sale. They said that there were equal opportunities but it seemed that they kept disappearing to other sales reps.

    Advice to Management

Set up realistic goals, review the format in which sales opportunities are distributed. Allow a fair opportunity to be able to make those impossible goals.

    Pros

EF has so many offices all over the world - you can work in so many different countries!
Great opportunities to rotate and change roles in different departments, and grow professionally.
Super good atmosphere at the office, and offices have really nice decoration.

Working for them, and the atmosphere, people...it's just FUN, makes you enjoy what you are doing and makes you love your job!

    Cons

Sometimes deadlines are tight and you need to work pretty hard, but...which company does not have this?
