Hello all need some interview advice. So on my U5 it shows I was terminated, No reason listed, never broke any rules etc. I actually had a story made up about me from someone at that company and they believed it. Long story short, job & family services got involved, I won and they paid me a little bit of money. However, inevitably the question will come up “so why did you leave x company” how would you go about answering this? I’m torn between just being honest or talking past it.

Today HR called me for telling me that they are interested in hiring me (we discussed salary and starting date to draft the contract) but they have to wait till end of next week since by company policy the position has to stay x days opened in the internal website. They do not expect anyone to apply but they can send me the contract only by the 10 Oct. Should I sent a thank you note again after this conversation?

For all people working in Big4 and other big companies when the job application asks for the local language how true is it? My local office asks for the local language in their job postings but I know there are some people who do not speak it. If I apply for a position that asks for the local language what are my chances?
