Approves of CEO

Pros

Work Life balance. Co-workers are amazing and professionalism. Also the management is very approachable without close doors (up to the VP levels).

Cons

Takes a while to move up in the organization as there is very little people you leave the organization. However, people are quick to refer you in new positions and promotions when available.

Advice to Management

MBA for payment over a 2-5 year plan to allow employees to know benefits, raises, stock options, and future career growth.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Job security is pretty stable, alot of very talented people (aside from the obvious intellects, alot of skilled people that can offer the company great value. Alot of the acquisitions are very interesting...*ahem VMware, Greenplum...

    Cons

When they layoff it's pretty much across the board. They have the talent, but keeping them happy and away BS politics seems difficult, and they leave. Like all absorbed companies, assimilating to corporate seems like a one way street, previous office culture dies if you're not near headquarters.

    Advice to Management

Rally the troops, working with less isn't always the solution. Try streamlining processes.
