Pros

Benefits are good and they offer great tuition reimbursement.

Cons

The salary you are hired at is the one you will stay at your entire time here. Do not expect substantial pay increases.

It's EMC's culture of fear that keeps they on top of the industry. You are belittled, looked down on, and shunned to make you feel insignificant and not worthy of working here. Many people stay simply because they're afraid to leave.

The socialites and schmoozers get ahead while the employees who actually produce are simply handed down more work. You're wasting you're time if you think your hard work will actually pay off.

Advice to Management

Take care of your people and they will take care of you.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

there are good benefits, and opportunites to develop your career. If you put in the effort it will be noticed

    Cons

having to work absolutely crazy hours at quarter end, and sometimes needing to get time off can be quite difficult

    Advice to Management

my advice is not for middle management but for senior management, do not forget that any cuts you make or reallocation of resources will always have an affect on performance
