I worked at EMC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

For such a large company, getting things approved was not very difficult. Truly enjoyed the people that I worked with. Benefits were very good.

    Cons

Depending on the role, lack of defined support structure to accomplish goals.
If in a central location where EMC has an office, great, but if remote, you are on your own a lot without a lifeline at times.

    Advice to Management

Develop a career development/maintenance plan for all positions, then train the management team to deliver it. Also develop a refresher "go to market" plan to help maintain the workforce better (more like a refresher to the "New Hire" process).
