I have been working at EMC full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

Great benefits, good salary, ok tools to get the job done

Cons

EMC use to be a though leader in services and in the value it placed on its employee's however EMC appears to have lost its way. It is no longer a fun place to work, they no longer value the people that work their, and most of its very smart people are leaving in mass. EMC is more concerned these days with making the sale and profit then taking care of its customers and do what is in their best interests.

I worked at EMC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    -F500 with F500 benefits
    -International opportunities
-Flexibility with roles, especially in non-corporate divisions

    Cons

    -Extremely political, sometimes dysfunctionally so
-HUGE playing of favorites, with quiet, hardworking employees not valued
-"No money for bonus" for strong employees

    Advice to Management

When you cost-cut and expect employees to pick up the slack without any sort of acknowledgement (even nominal) when they deliver, don't be surprised when they leave, and you have to hire two people to replace all the work they did.
