I have been working at EMC full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Good Work, team oriented, excellent products, benefits very good. Have worked here a number of years, developed good relationships.

Cons

Their MBO plan has its pros and cons. The payout is each quarter. If you are not a favorite of your boss, or slighted, then you get dinged. Your base salary is lower than the industry norm. I would rather get the higher salary, and skip the MBO. Some of the middle layer managment is inexperienced, which can affect your direction in the company.

Advice to Management

Allow latitude amongst the employees so they can move around the company. They should respect engineers that deliver results, and stop dinging them for mistakes they made.

Statistics are sometimes just statistics. They don't necessarily always apply to all reps and account sets.

I have been working at EMC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Can't think of any benefit.

    Cons

    Very long hours. Disgruntled employees.

    Advice to Management

Reward your employees that do the work and add value. If no one gets rewards or raises, both good and bad employees are treated the same. The good employees just leave.
