Pros
There are so many great things about enmax beyond the baseline expectations in any job (ie get paid, vacation time and benefits of some kind). We get all that plus some good perks like; volunteer time, opportunity to be part of passion projects through erg, lots of recognition, great pay/bonus, time off, great health benefits, celebrations, open communication, huge support during life challenging moments and the list goes on. The employees respect each other and work hard for customers, stakeholders, the business and for one another.
Everyone is entitled to opinions, but a few of the negative reviews smell of performance issues. It’s a union environment so if you are not doing well in your role , you get coaching and conversations and support, not just fired. It’s a job and you don’t get to come and play cards all day lol.
Cons
Sometimes slow to execute and risk adverse. Opportunities to grow are present but Sometimes with the union jobs a high education is required and that doesn’t necessarily mean you got the best suited to the role.
